Er for the Soul

Author Donna Arz presents ER for the Soul, an exploration of the result of trauma on the human body and soul. The book is full of stories of hope and healing. She shares information she has learned over her many years of working with Veterans and enlisted military people. Trauma is something that is common to us all. In the service to our country many have returned from war with shattered and broken souls unable to find their way back to connect with themselves, family and community. Ms. Arz explains the solution as she sees it from her perspective. And honestly discusses the problems she has become aware of through her many years of conversations with our Veterans. ER (emergency room) for the Soul was the description aptly given to the program Ms. Arz founded five years ago.... The Forgotten Soldier Program. It is her hope that everyone will become aware that the heart and soul of healing is to incorporate both into the process.Author BiographyAuthor Donna Arz, Ph.D has spent the last five years working with military Veterans, teens, and her private clients to assist them in restoring balance in their life after the experience of trauma. Her current book, ER for the Soul, explores the result of trauma on the human body and soul. Dr. Arz explains the solution as she sees it from her unique perspective. It is her hope that everyone will become aware that incorporating both heart and soul in the process of healing is the key. Dr. Arz is a mother, practitioner of alternative therapies, artist and author. She is the founder and executive director of the Forgotten Soldier Program, the founder of the Healing Light Institute, Teens Matter Life Skills, and our new venture ER for the Soul. She has a Ph.D. in Theology, Philosophy & Religion, a Degree in Holistic Nutrition, Certified Lay Ministry from the Sacramento Diocese, Certified Placer County Chaplaincy Program, Suicide Prevention Assistance Program, she is a member of the Suicide Prevention Task Force, Navy League and the Association of the US Army (AUSA)
