Her love for storytelling and writing started early in life. She graduated with a degree in English from Montana State University and earned a graduate degree in theological leadership studies from Bethel Seminary near Minneapolis. She divides her time between writing, working with a local youth theater company, and spending time with her family and cat, Mikhail.
