Mother's Choice Ditto Tandem Stroller - Black

Mother's Choice Ditto Tandem Stroller - Black
$299

The Mother's Choice Ditto tandem stroller is the perfect solution if you have a newborn and a toddler. The multi-position reclinable rear seat is suitable for newborns and the design is lightweight and compact for easy storage and travel. Features include removable and adjustable sun canopies with a handy viewing window, a rain cover and large shopping basket. Warning bells should have sounded when the manager of Target stated "Mother's Choice is usually a good brand". What's wrong with this pram? It handles worse than a shopping trolley. (This pram is very top heavy). It doesn't respond to direction with only one hand on a handle. It is impossible to store anything in "the shopping basket" underneath whilst two children are seated. The toddler seat at front doesn't recline at all. With two children under three; I purchased this pram with the expectation of both being able to sleep comfortably at the same time, however this isn't the case. Talking of the front seat; if my toddler sits up front, the shade canopy rests directly on her skull. The pram wasn't designed with tall toddlers in mind. It is almost like Mother's Choice designed this pram then forgot to road test it. With a few modifications it could be a lot better. I am currently investigating Phil & Ted's range of prams as an alternative. Bought this as a second stroller. Very compact, fits in my boot easily. With two kids under three it is handy to have and take with me when visiting and travelling. Only drawback is can be a bit heavier to steer with my oldest son in the front (is a big boy though) and bags in the basket. Newborn sleeps well in it with room to lay fully flat. Overall its great value for money. Looking to purchase another for Mother in law. would recommend.
