Drinking From The Sun, Walking Under Stars Restrung

Hilltop Hoods have announced a special new orchestral album, Drinking From the Sun, Walking Under Stars Restrung, and an accompanying Australian tour. A spiritual sequel to 2007's The Hard Road: Restrung, the new 19-track album ties together the Hoods' two #1 double platinum albums Walking Under Stars and Drinking From the Sun. Drinking From the Sun, Walking Under Stars Restrung was recorded with the 32-piece Adelaide Symphony Orchestra and the 20-piece Adelaide Chamber Singers Choir. Composer Jamie Messenger handled the orchestral arrangements and NZ conductor Hamish McKeich guides the musicians. “We've taken six songs from our last two albums … and we've gone and hit up an orchestra again,” said MC Suffa. “We've recorded a full album [and] we've recorded about seven new songs as well.”
