Everybody has stories. About silly things they've done. About their first love. Or their greatest love. Or their worst nightmare. Or greatest fear. Many of us never write the stories down. We all think that no one really wants to hear them. Or the pace of life leaves us little time for what seems like an indulgence. After all, we say to ourselves, we'll never forget. Yet, somewhere along the line, memories fade. Events blur into each other. As life happened to me, I wrote many of the stories down, mostly for my own amusement. Okay, I really fantasized that one day they would be of interest to a large audience of eager readers. I no longer have those fantasies. I really only know ten people. But after reading a memoir by a well-known celebrity, I was inspired to collect all of my stories and weave them into my own memoir. Hence this book. Life happens to all of us. And in one way or another, the stories we tell reveal much about the tapestry of our individual lives.
