Edward came over to the United States from Ireland due to much famine and to start a new life. He shared a cabin with several other men who, like himself, who desired to explore the new country. Things went wrong at the ranch and Kora was kidnapped by rustlers. It seemed that suddenly the ranch was under siege with accidents and cattle rustling. But this event brought many people to the ranch that seemed to find romance there among the chaos.
