1/35 WWI Heavy Battle Tank Mark V - Model Kit
1/35 WWI Heavy Battle Tank Mark V – Model Kit Takom keeps the WWI rhomboid tanks coming with this release of the Mark V Heavy Tank! The Mark V was a big improvement over the Mark IV in that it was the first British tank that could be driven by one person. Previous tanks had complicated transmissions that required three people or more just to steer them. The Mark V was first used in the Battle of Hamel on 4 July 1918, and fought with success in eight major operations during the remainder of the war. Takom's kit features stunning and accurate detail, with easy-to-assemble snap-fit workable indy-link tracks, PE parts, moving wheels, and markings for 8 vehicle variations. This is a “3-in-1” kit that can be built as a cannon-armed “Male,” a machinegun-armed “Female,” or a “Hermaphrodite,” armed with a cannon on one side and a machine gun on the other. Your choice!
