Season of the Witch - DVD

In a world of fear, ignorance and superstition, heroic Crusader Behmen (Nicolas Cage, Ghost Rider, Knowing) and his closest friend Felson (Ron Perlman, Hellboy 1 and 2) return home after decades of fierce fighting, only to find their homeland destroyed by the Black Plague. Called before the dying local Cardinal (Christopher Lee, The Resident, The Lord of the Rings Trilogy) to explain their unscheduled return from the East, they are threatened with prison unless they agree to a dangerous mission. They can redeem themselves by accompanying a young woman (Claire Foy Little Dorrit), accused of being a witch responsible for the Plague, to a distant abbey to stand trial. Together with a naive priest, a well-travelled con man, an eager young man aspiring to knighthood and a bitter knight who has lost his family to the Plague, Behman, Felson and the girl embark on a harrowing journey.
