Audrey is desperate for her parents to lay down some boundaries instead of simply throwing money at her problems; Dixie suffers under the abusive control of her father whose own wife ran out on him years before and Angela, a self-proclaimed bitch lives a life of booze and men with no parents around to control her. As the pressures of school and the constant taunting of classmates escalate Angela decides they should all follow her small-time criminal brother to L.A. and start afresh. But their dreams of a new life soon shatter when Dixie discovers she is pregnant and Audrey’s parents hire a private investigator to track the trio down. As for Angela, her brother’s predatory nature and selfish manipulations drive her toward a fate from which there can be no turning back.
