As I was growing up as a child, my mother was a full blown heroin addict. I hated to see her high falling all over the place. I always said to myself, "I will never be like my mother." I was taken away from her as a child. It was hard for me because I was a mommy's girl. I would cry and cry to my mother to get off drugs. Now that I am an adult, I understand she was powerless to this drug. When I became an adult, I turned into my mother. I became a full blown crack cocaine addict. I have three kids and I am putting them through the same thing she put me through. I'm also getting high with my mother. Until this one day I realize, I must change, and who do you think helps me?
