Petaluma Chardonnay 750mL

For the last couple of decades Petaluma has provided one of the benchmarks of Aussie Chardonnay. With white peach and nectarine characters, this one has quality written all over it. It has some toasty nuances from barrel fermentation and a long line of acidity.Being a part of the Hardy winemaking dynasty, winemaking is in Andrew Hardy’s blood. He began working with founder Brian Croser at Petaluma in 1982, and now his role is ‘custodian of the vineyards’. Over vintage he works closely with the viticulture team, travelling to every region and every vineyard tasting the grapes and determining when they’re ready to pick.
