Four decades of hits, four decades of touring and legendary Australian band The Angels are still making great music. Celebrating their 40th anniversary this year (1974–2014) the band are hitting the road for an extensive Australian tour and releasing two commemorative albums. The Angels – Volume 1 – 40 Greatest STUDIO Hits features every hit, some groundbreaking album tracks and a few rare gems to round out the package. It’s all Angels… all classics… ALL ROCK! Lead guitarist Rick Brewster says the band will also be launching a website with a full history section for each member past and present. “After being part of The Angels for the past four decades, I have been privileged to work with every line-up of the band over the years,” he says. “We would like to take this opportunity to acknowledge the efforts of all the musicians who have been members of the band over its 40 year history, as well as everyone who has contributed to all our albums and tours. They have helped shape the band and kept the creative juices flowing. We are excited by the release of Talk The Talk this year – another album of all new material – and we continue to be as well received as ever.
