He has won numerous prestigious awards, including the Royal Academy Painting Prize in 1984, and in 1992 was made a Brother of the Art Workers Guild in Bloomsbury, London. Stephen's work has been exhibited at the Summer Exhibition, the Mall Galleries and the Royal Portrait Society exhibition, and many of his paintings are held in private collections in Europe, Scandinavia, the USA and the UK. Stephen currently lives with his family in Kent, England where he works as an artist and art tutor.
