Naked Innocence, the Bastille Day Murder

"Tony, I'm glad I caught you. I'm afraid I have some bad news. Your good friend was murdered Saturday night." I could feel the blood drain from my head and I felt faint. I was sick to my stomach to think that someone would deliberately kill this sweet innocent man. "Sorry to be the one to break the news to you, but better that you should hear it from me than to read it in the paper." I had solved my first big murder case last year in northern California and felt good about my skills as a Private Investigator. I never dreamed the next big case for me would be investigating the death of my dear friend.
