A Dark Sojourn into the Realm of Spirits and Deities In 2007, a writer and clairvoyant named Lily Strange released a novel which she claimed was written with the help of a very interesting spirit. This spirit had been a cult figure in the underground music scene of the mid to late 1980's and early 1990's. Lily's assertion garnered her some disturbing attention, and she pulled the book from the market, vowing that it would never again be seen by anyone. However, the response to the book was not entirely negative. Rose LeMort, a Tarot reader from the Boulder Colorado area, believed that the story had merit, and she approached Lily with a thought. What if the book were revised, removing most references to real people? Lily was too discouraged to ever consider working on the story again, so Rose suggested that she be allowed to do the revisions. Lily liked the fact that like herself, Rose was a longtime student of the occult. Rose and Lily also shared an interest in the tales of H.P. Lovecraft and the authors who had inspired and been inspired by him. They shared as well the belief that a portion of the proceeds from the book should go to worthy charities. With this knowledge, Lily gladly turned the manuscript over to Rose to revise. While maintaining the core story, Rose removed the references to the real people whom Lily had used as characters in her original tale. To add elements of terror and suspense, she drew not only on mythologies from past and present mythologies but also on creatures from the Lovecraftian Mythos. The greater story is made up of various sub-scenarios, weaving together to form a web of dark intrigue. The reader will find themselves being drawn into this web, lured by the promise of discovering the secrets of the various beings fighting for control of the Dark Mind.Author BiographyRose LeMort is a clairvoyant medium and Tarot reader.
