2-time New Zealand music award winner Marlon Williams releases his debut, eponymous debut album on April 24th 2015. Recorded in his hometown of Lyttelton with longtime producer Ben Edwards (Aldous Harding, Tami Neilson), the album showcases why Williams has been called “the impossible love child of Elvis, Roy Orbison and Townes Van Zandt”. After releasing acclaimed records with The Unfaithful Ways and Delaney Davidson between 2009–2013, Williams has gone out on his own, selling out tours around New Zealand and Australia and playing some of the Australasia's biggest festivals including Byron Bay Bluesfest and Port Fairy Folk Festival. Now with his debut album, Marlon Williams has announced himself as the new voice of country music in New Zealand. Updated .
