This specially designed Samyang 50mm lens is full frame compatible, suitable for cameras and interchangeable lens camcorders fitted with 24x36mm (full frame) or smaller sensor.  Offering a 46.2 degrees field of view with a fast aperture of f/1.4 means it is superb for low light shooting and shallow depth of field photography where separation of the subject from the background is desired and beautiful bokeh with a circular aperture with 8 blades. Optics of the lens consists of nine lens elements arranged in six groups (including one aspherical and one hybrid aspherical lens element). The Hybrid glass aspherical lens (H-ASP) minimizes colour aberration to produce exceptional image quality and high contrast for throughout the image, from centre to the corners, even for wide apertures. The aspherical element (ASP) further helps to produce the highest resolution and sharpness throughout the image.
