Wolf Blass Yellow Label - Cabernet Sauvignon

Straightforward Cabernet fruit -- blackcurrant (think Ribena cordial) and a touch of savoury black olive. Oak is apparent but not dominant. Medium weight tannins before a smooth, surprisingly soft finish. 'No doubting the pure cabernet soul in this wine, all that blackberry and dark plum fruit with typical foresty lift and a light dusty note, mint leaf and earthiness showing the layers this variety can achieve.
