Academy B-17G Flying Fortress 1/72 Model Kit

The G-series was the last version of the venerable Flying Fortress. It featured a new chin turret under the bomb aimers position and improved fuel tank venting which increased the aircraft's survival chances in combat. Detailed 1/72nd scale for static display only. Markings included for one aircraft with staggered waist gun positions. Detailed engine fronts and cowlings; correct nose and chin turret. Cockpit detail: floor instrument panel with decal seats and controls. Detailed bomb bay with bomb racks bombs and positionable bomb doors. Late production style tail gun position. Service History: USAAF; 1941–45. Description: Heavily armed four-engine daylight heavy bomber.
