Flames of War: Great War – US Mortar Platoon German machine-gun nests and pillboxes are not the obstacle they once were due to our excellent collection of trench mortars. The British 76mm Stokes mortar can knock out strongpoints up close in the attack. The heavier 58mm Type 2 mortars will stay in our trench line or close behind it to knock out the most difficult of enemy positions.
