He received his Ph.D. in English Literature from Vanderbilt University and is Associate Professor of English at Trevecca Nazarene University. He has published articles in Studies in English Literature, The Age of Johnson, The Robert Frost Review, Christianity and Literature, and 1650-1850: Ideas, Aesthetics, and Inquiries in the Early Modern Era.
