Celestron TrailSeeker Fluid Pan Tripod

Technical Details

Stable yet lightweight, the Celestron TrailSeeker Tripod weighs just 1.79 kg but supports up to 4.08 kg of gear, making it ideal for photographers and observers on the move. Its aluminium legs are fully adjustable, offering not only variable length but also three distinct angle settings per leg - essential for uneven ground. Each of the four leg sections extends or retracts smoothly with a simple lever lock, allowing quick height adjustments to suit any terrain. With the centre column fully extended, the tripod reaches a maximum height of 179 cm (147 cm with the column down), providing ample elevation for most applications. The retractable balance hook at the base of the centre column enhances stability in breezy conditions - simply hang a rucksack or weight for extra steadiness, and tuck the hook away when not needed. Two padded leg wraps offer comfort during transport and adjustment in cold weather, while rubber feet prevent slipping on slick surfaces. The two-way fluid pan head, operated by a single handle, delivers smooth movement and secures with an oversized tension knob. Attaching equipment is straightforward with the quick release plate and standard 1/4-20 thread mount, accommodating spotting scopes, binoculars, cameras, or small telescopes. Integrated bubble levels on both the tripod and pan head ensure precise setup, and the included carry case with shoulder strap makes storage and transport effortless.
