Distilled at Glen Keith in 2013 and bottled as part of Càrn Mòr’s Strictly Limited range, this expression was matured in American oak before being bottled at 47.5% ABV. Glen Keith is known for producing a lighter, fruit-forward style of Speyside spirit, allowing the influence of the American oak to come through with notes of vanilla, soft spice and gentle sweetness.
The American oak maturation complements the spirit without overpowering its character, creating a balanced expression with a combination of fresh fruit, malt and subtle oak. Its 10-year maturation gives the whisky additional depth while retaining the lighter, approachable character associated with Glen Keith.
