Crafted from the wine-producing region of McLaren Vale, this single cask single malt whisky is a result of the partnership between McLaren Vale Distillery and Dutschke, renowned for their fortified wines. Limited to only 120 bottles, this release is aged in American oak barrels previously seasoned with Dutschke port, lending a striking crimson color and delicate flavors. At a cask strength of 55% ABV, this whisky showcases a dry style with notes of chocolate, rose, and sarsaparilla, demonstrating the interplay of flavors. The influence of port cask deepens its complexity, reflecting the distillery's dedication to creating exquisite and distinct spirits.
