Matured in ancient Pedro Ximenez casks and bottled in Burgundy, this single malt is admired for its depth and richness. The aroma is layered with figs, raisins, prunes and soft floral undertones. The palate unfolds with velvety notes of Christmas cake, caramel, stewed plums and a gentle touch of spice. Its texture is plush and mouth-coating, perfectly in tune with the old sherry casks that shape its character. The finish is long and graceful, leaving lingering hints of dried fruits and creamy vanilla. A must-have for lovers of sherried whisky, this expression captures the soulful style Michel Couvreur is celebrated for.
