The Norman Custom Victorian Ash Oak Bed Frame combines a plain square headboard, low side rails and sturdy square legs. Its open footend keeps the design light and gives your bedding room to sit naturally, while the oak grain adds warmth and detail to the clean lines.

Choose the timber finish to work with your existing furniture, then tailor the clearance and mattress fit to suit your room. The Norman is made to order in Sydney, so a straightforward design can still feel personal to the space you are creating.

Available in Single, King Single, Double, Queen, King and Super King. Send us your mattress measurements if you need a custom size.

Choose your clearance.
Under-bed clearance of 5cm, 10cm or 15cm is available at no extra charge. Higher 20cm, 25cm and 30cm options cost extra. Clearance is the open space from the floor to the underside of the side rail, so choose the height that gives you the access you need.

Victorian Ash Oak and Your Choice of Finish

The borders, legs and side rails are solid Victorian Ash Oak. Larger headboard and footboard panels use high-quality oak veneer with solid timber framing. Choose a tinted lacquer sealer, or the optional LIVOS Kunos linseed-oil finish—chemical-free and allergy friendly. Both bring out the timber’s natural grain in different ways. Choose How Your Mattress Sits

Mattress sit flush: the mattress rests on top of the frame, with no raised retaining lip along the side rails or footend.

Mattress sit inside 2cm: the mattress is recessed 2cm within the frame. Select the fit you prefer when ordering.

Strong Support Beneath Your Mattress

Solid pine slats measure 90mm wide × 35mm thick, with approximately 70mm spacing for airflow beneath the mattress.

• Single, King Single and Double: no centre support as standard; additional heavy-duty support can be requested.
• Queen: includes a centre support rail beneath the slats.
• King and Super King: include centre support and two additional legs extending to the floor.
• Combined weight capacity: up to 380kg for Double, Queen, King and Super King.

Would Under-Bed Storage Suit Your Room?

Optional drawers can be quoted to suit your chosen base height and layout. They have solid New Zealand pine internal linings, full-extension metal runners and a storage capacity of up to 70kg per drawer. Choose top or bottom finger-pull openings, or add push-to-open operation from $80 per drawer.
