A Complete Astrophotography Instrument

Atlas is a smart telescope: optics, camera, motorised mount and automatic pointing in a single instrument controlled from your smartphone. The deep-sky image builds in colour on your screen, minute after minute, revealing details impossible to see with the naked eye, even through a very large telescope. Each 80mm module is a four-lens apochromatic Petzval-style refractor with no mirror that creates images as sharp on the edges as they are in the centre. Its back-illuminated Sony IMX585 sensor, built for faint signal, generates 8.3MP images with 2.9µm pixels and mosaics up to 24MP.

Sky Guard Map

The Sky Guard camera captures the entire sky from horizon to horizon, both day and night, displaying stars as they appear to the naked eye. With Atlas, users can select a galaxy, nebula or the Moon, and the integrated GoTo technology automatically points to and tracks the chosen object, keeping it in frame while capturing images for stacking into a final result. Designed to perform well even in light-polluted urban areas, it stacks and processes exposures to reveal galaxies and nebulae, with an optional light-pollution filter available for faster results. Its Multi-Night Imaging feature automatically resumes targets across sessions, allowing exposures from multiple nights to accumulate into the same image with a simple tap on Resume.
