A Frog In My Cheese Sandwich

Peter Combe, with 3 ARIAS for Best Children's Album to his credit and 6 nominations, has a new album, A Frog in My Cheese Sandwich, with songs for a diverse age range of kids and which are very adult friendly. The title track is in the style of Mr Clicketty Cane (Wash Your Face in Orange Juice) indisputably Peter's biggest hit with 6.6 million YouTube viewings. 'They Got It Right Vegemite' is the story of the competition from which Vegemite got its iconic name. The winner received a prize of 50 pounds! Did you know that for every one grain of sand on planet earth there are something like 10,000 Stars in the universe. An astonishing statistic revealed in this song. In Harry Houdini the Escapologist, the story is told of how on February 17 in the year 1910, he jumped from the Queens Bridge in Melbourne into the Yarra River, undid the chains he was wrapped in and reappeared, grinning about 4 minutes later. What a way to make a living!

As is Peter's tradition, there are 2 new fairy tales songs on the album, the delightful The Elves and the Shoemaker story and the wonderfully silly, politically incorrect The Princess and the Pea. Mrs Ticketty Tocketty Turkey is another very silly song.
