About this product
Celebrate the 30th Anniversary of the iconic Australian musical comedy, now making its worldwide debut on 4K UHD with Dolby Vision, fully restored by Imprint Films, supervised by director Stephan Elliott.
Resplendent in flamboyant ball gowns, looking down over the vast red Australian desert: for three showgirls (Terence Stamp, Hugo Weaving and Guy Pearce) it was the dream of a lifetime, a four week cabaret engagement in Alice Springs. The problem is simply getting there intact, along with their battered, pink tour bus, Priscilla, Queen of the Desert. It's not easy being a drag queen in the outback!
They came. They conquered. They looked fabulous. This colourful, moving extravaganza was a box-office smash, starring Terence Stamp, Hugo Weaving, and Guy Pearce, as three drag performers braving the vast, rugged Australian outback.
An Academy Award winner for Costume Design, Priscilla is a hilarious, glittery classic, filled with iconic pop hits from the Village People, ABBA, Gloria Gaynor and many more.
