“Along Came A Spider” returns, an album that caused a stir when it first appeared.
Slash delivers a guitar performance on “Vengeance Is Mine” that hits instantly, while Ozzy Osbourne leaves a clear mark on “Wake the Dead” in his role as producer. With Greg Hampton and Danny Saber shaping the overall sound, the album comes across rough, edgy and full of grit. It captures the intensity that has defined Alice Cooper for decades.
The reissue brings the record back into focus. Both formats, the Jewelcase CD and 2LP edition cut at 45RPM, include three bonus tracks that complete the release. A welcome extra for collectors and a strong incentive for fans looking for something new.
