A long horizontal opening gives the Amy Custom Timber Oak Wood Bed Frame its distinctive profile. Set just below the top rail, the cut-out breaks up the broad headboard with a clean strip of open space, while the framed timber panel below shows the grain across its full width. Straight side rails, a low footboard and square legs carry the same crisp lines through the base, giving Amy a composed, contemporary shape.

The solid Victorian Ash Oak structure gives that clean outline substance, with substantial pine slats supporting the mattress underneath. Its open base keeps the room feeling spacious, and the headboard’s combination of solid framing and a broad timber panel gives the design detail without making it busy. A lighter finish brings out the grain gently; a deeper shade adds definition to the cut-out and straight-edged frame.

Choose the right size.
Select Single, King Single, Double, Queen, King or Super King to suit your mattress. If your room calls for a different size, send us your measurements so we can quote a custom build.

Choose how the mattress meets the frame.
A 2cm sit-in mattress rests slightly down inside the base, leaving a visible timber border that gives the frame a more substantial outline. With sit-flush, the mattress edges align with the outside of the frame, creating a neat, continuous profile without the exposed border.

Set the clearance.
Choose the leg height to leave the amount of open space you want beneath the bed. Clearance is measured from the floor to the bottom of the side rails, so a taller option provides more room for cleaning underneath, while shorter legs create a lower-looking base. Select 5cm, 10cm, 20cm, 30cm or the standard height shown in the dimension drawing.

Choose your finish.
Keep the timber light and natural-looking, bring out warmer mid-tones or give the angular frame a deeper, more defined outline.

Tinted lacquer: Choose a light, natural-looking shade, a warm mid-tone or a deeper brown to bring out the timber’s character. The lacquer seals the surface with a smooth protective coating; black and white finishes are also available at an additional cost.

Livos Kunos natural oil: Upgrade to Livos Kunos Natural Oil Sealer, made with linseed oil to deepen the timber’s colour and grain. It creates a satin sheen while being VOC-free, bringing the natural markings into sharper focus and keeping the bedroom allergy friendly.

Each piece of timber has its own grain and tone, so natural variations will remain visible through the finish.

What Goes Into Your Amy

A timber veneer headboard panel sits within a solid Victorian Ash Oak frame, bringing a broad sweep of grain to Amy’s signature cut-out design. The side rails, legs, timber borders and low footboard are also solid Victorian Ash Oak, creating a substantial structure around the mattress.
