Brand new album from neo-soul duo Ibeyi, available on XL via Remote Control/Inertia!
Ash includes collaborations with Kamasi Washington, two-time Latin Grammy winning rapper Mala Rodriguez, Meshell Ndegeocello and Chilly Gonzales.
Ash was produced by Richard Russell (Bobby Womack, Gil Scott-Heron), who is also the head of XL Recordings.
As opposed to their 2015 self-titled debut, Ash is a more visceral and potent political statement, and while firmly rooted in Afro-Cuban culture and history, finds itself entirely concerned with Ibeyi's present
