Asus ROG 9 Pro Gaming Phone 5G Dual Sim (512GB) [Grade B]

Powerful Everyday Performance

The ASUS ROG Phone 9 Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and 24GB of RAM, handling intensive gaming sessions, video editing, and heavy multitasking without slowdown. The GameCool 9 thermal system actively manages heat during extended use, keeping performance steady whether you're mid-game or running multiple apps simultaneously. Launching with Android 15 and supporting up to two major OS upgrades, this phone stays current well into the future.

Brilliant Display

The 6.78-inch Mini-LED AMOLED panel runs at a 185Hz refresh rate with a 1080 x 2400 resolution, making fast-action content and everyday scrolling noticeably fluid. Peak brightness reaches 2500 nits, so the ROG Phone 9 Pro Australia buyers will find the screen sharp and readable even in bright outdoor conditions. Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protects the display from the bumps and scratches of daily use.

Camera Highlights

The triple rear camera is led by a 50MP wide lens featuring a 6-axis hybrid gimbal stabiliser, keeping handheld photos and videos steady in real-world shooting conditions. A 32MP telephoto with 3x optical zoom handles portraits and detailed close-ups, while the 13MP ultrawide lens covers expansive group shots and landscapes. The 32MP front camera delivers clear selfies and supports 1080p video, making it reliable for video calls and content creation.

Battery & Charging

The 5800mAh battery supports extended gaming and daily use without requiring a mid-day top-up. The 65W wired charger refills the battery to full in around 46 minutes, and 15W wireless charging provides a convenient cable-free option at your desk. Reverse wired charging lets you power up accessories directly from the phone when needed.

Design & Usability

The ROG Phone 9 Pro features a Gorilla Glass Victus 2 front and back with an aluminium frame, balancing durability with a solid in-hand feel at 227g. The AirTrigger ultrasonic side buttons give you two customisable controls that respond to gestures like Dual Action, Press and Lift, and Gyroscope Aiming — remappable for camera use or other functions beyond gaming. The AniMe Vision panel on the back uses 648 Mini-LEDs to display programmable patterns, adding a distinctive and personally expressive visual element.

Connectivity & Extras

5G support and Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be) keep downloads and streaming fast, whether you're at home or on the go. The side-mounted USB Type-C port supports DisplayPort 1.4, so you can connect the phone directly to an external monitor for a desktop-style setup. NFC enables contactless payments, and Bluetooth 5.4 with aptX Lossless delivers high-quality wireless audio to compatible headphones.
