Game Beyond Speeds

The Rapture series continues to push the boundaries of what is possible for gaming and networking. The ROG Rapture GT-BE98 is a quad-band Wi-Fi 7 gaming router tailored for next-gen computing, with speeds of up to 25 Gbps and dual 10Gbps ports.

Beyond Fast Wi-Fi 7

Leap Forward with Wi-Fi 7

Wi-Fi 7 (IEEE 802.11be) packs all the benefits of Wi-Fi 6/6E and expands several existing Wi-Fi standards to a whole new level, such as 320 MHz bandwidth and 4K-QAM. And it introduces some revolutionary features like Multi-Link Operation. These combined technologies provide beyond fast speeds, extremely low latency and enhanced reliability. You can enjoy unparalleled network experiences in any online battlefield.

• Beyond fast 25 Gbps quad-band Wi-Fi 7
• Up to 2.4x Faster compared to Wi-Fi 6 / 6E
• Up to 2x Capacity with new 320 MHz bandwidth
• Up to 1.2x Transmission with enhanced 4K-QAM

Ultimate Quad-Band Speeds

The ROG Rapture GT-BE98 is designed for gamers who want to keep multiple devices connected and still get incredible gaming performance. Enjoy up to sixteen simultaneous Wi-Fi streams for more video streaming, gaming, and browsing for everyone in your home.

• 6GHz Band - 11529 Mbps
• 5GHz Band-01 - 5764 Mbps
• 5GHz Band-02 - 5764 Mbps
• 2.4GHz Band - 1376 Mbps

Ultrawide 320 MHz Bandwidth

Wi-Fi 7 introduces all-new ultrawide 320 MHz channel bandwidth, doubling data transmission capacity. Think of networking as a virtual freeway and the doubled bandwidth as a doubling of the number of lanes. Now larger vehicles are allowed to get on the freeway and can pack more data than ever before.

High-Density 4096-QAM Data Transmission

4K-QAM can improve data transmission rates versus Wi-Fi 6/6E by up to 20%, because a higher QAM can pack signals more densely. Continuing with the freeway analogy, now higher QAM permits more merchandise to be loaded into every vehicle. In other words, you can now upload and download more data in the same time frame as before.

• 4096-QAM - 12 bits/symbol
• 1024-QAM - 10 bits/symbol

Revolutionary Multi-Link Operation

Multi-Link Operation (MLO) allows a device to simultaneously connect on multiple frequency bands, enabling faster speeds by aggregating bandwidth, with more reliable Wi-Fi connections on multiple concurrently used bands. Connecting to multiple bands in this manner also enables “seamless switching” where your data will automatically be allocated to the most suitable band to reduce latency.

• MLO - 6 GHz, 5 GHz, 2.4 GHz
• Without MLO - 5 GHz
