The Zen USB-C & A External Optical Drive reads and writes CDs and DVDs for PC and Mac computers. Compact and lightweight, this Asus external optical drive fits easily into a laptop bag or desk drawer. It connects to both USB-C and USB-A ports, making it suitable for newer laptops and older desktops without the need for adapters. The drive is powered directly from your computer's USB port, so there is no need for a separate power adaptor. It supports CD-R and CD-RW writing at up to 24X speed, and handles multiple DVD formats including DVD-R, DVD+R, DVD-RW and DVD+RW. M-DISC compatibility allows for long-term archival storage on DVD+R single-layer media at 4X speed. The interface is USB 2.0, which is suitable for standard CD and DVD tasks. Model 4402976 in silver comes with a 1 year manufacturer's warranty.
