About this product
The Axiom Cavern Bass is a faithful reproduction of McCartney’s iconic 1963 violin-style bass. Designed for musicians who want the true look, feel and tone of the sixties, this violin bass guitar Australia wide delivers in both sound and aesthetics.
Equipped with twin single coil "soapbar" style pickups and a semi-hollow body, the Cavern produces the classic warm, rounded tones made famous in the British Invasion era. The original-style switching system includes separate on/off switches for both pickups, as well as a “solo” switch that boosts the punch and low end. Individual volume controls allow precise tonal shaping.
Its narrow, straight neck is ideal for beginners, while the lightweight construction makes it a perfect choice for younger players, girls, or anyone who prefers a more manageable instrument. The beautiful flame maple finish in vintage sunburst completes the authentic look.
If you’re looking for a violin bass guitar Australia that stays true to the original in both tone and style, the Cavern Bass is the answer.
