Beau Geste

Gary Cooper, Ray Milland and Robert Preston lean an all-star cast in this unequalled epic of high adventure. Most men join the Foreign Legion to forget, but Beau Geste (Cooper) and his two brothers join to be forgotten. They’re running from a past clouded by the disappearance of their family’s Blue Water sapphire, an event that casts suspicion on all three men. But their troubles are soon overshadowed in the burning Sahara as the three fall under the tyranny of a sadistic sergeant, defending a desert fortress alongside propped-up corpses.Universally hailed as a classic, Beau Geste is a thrilling tale of courage, duty and devotion against all odds.
