Beauty of Joseon Radiance Cleansing Balm 100ml is a sherbet-textured balm that melts away makeup, sunscreen and excess sebum in one step, without stinging the eyes.

It's a balm-to-oil-to-milk formula: solid in the jar, it turns to oil as you massage it in, then emulsifies into a milk when you add water so it rinses away cleanly without leaving residue. That last part is what separates a good cleansing balm from a greasy one.

The formula is built on Beauty of Joseon's Radiance Complex of rice water and fermented grain extracts. Rice bran oil and rice seed water bring vitamins and minerals, fermented soybean and lactobacillus extracts support brightness, and oat meal extract soothes. Fragrance free and non-stripping, so it suits sensitive and breakout-prone skin as well as everyday makeup removal.

As a first cleanse it's designed to be followed by a water-based cleanser, which is the standard Korean double cleanse.

What are the features and benefits of Beauty of Joseon Radiance Cleansing Balm 100ml?

  • Balm-to-oil-to-milk texture that rinses clean without residue
  • Dissolves waterproof makeup and sunscreen, including eye makeup, without stinging
  • Rice bran oil, rice seed water and fermented grain extracts to hydrate while cleansing
  • Fragrance free and suitable for sensitive, dry and breakout-prone skin

Who is Beauty of Joseon Radiance Cleansing Balm 100ml for?

It's for anyone wearing sunscreen or makeup daily, where a foaming cleanser alone won't shift it. Worth knowing it isn't recommended if you have lash extensions, as oil-based cleansers break down the adhesive.
