The Cambridge Custom Solid Victorian Ash Oak Bed Frame combines a traditional slatted headboard, beautiful natural timber grain and sturdy wooden legs. Handcrafted in Sydney using sustainably sourced timber, it brings warmth, character and lasting strength to your bedroom.

The headboard, frame, side rails and legs are made from solid Victorian Ash Oak, with no veneer. Heavy-duty solid pine slats provide strong, reliable mattress support.

Available in all standard sizes, the Cambridge can be customised in dimensions, height, colour and under-bed clearance to suit your bedroom.

Your Choice of Timber Finish

Choose from a wide range of timber stains with a lacquer finish, or select an optional Livos Kunos Natural Oil Sealer for a warm, natural timber appearance.

Made with natural oils, including linseed oil, Kunos enhances the timber grain and creates a satin finish. It is a customer favourite at Bedworks for its organic look and is our best-selling finish among customers who identify as sensitive and prefer a natural oil finish.

Customer preference is individual. If you have allergies or chemical sensitivities, please review the ingredients for your chosen finish before ordering, as natural ingredients may not suit everyone. Kunos is not presented as an allergy-free or VOC-free finish.

• Locally made: Handcrafted in Sydney, Australia, using sustainably sourced timber.
• Solid Victorian Ash Oak: Headboard, frame, borders, side rails and legs, with no veneer.
• Solid pine slats: Heavy-duty slats measuring 9cm × 3.5cm.
• Single and Double: 11 slats with approximately 7cm spacing.
• King Single, Queen, King and Super King: 12 slats with approximately 7cm spacing.
• Queen: Includes a full-length centre support beam.
• King and Super King: Include a centre support beam and two additional legs reaching the floor.
• Additional support: Optional centre support is available for Single, King Single and Double sizes.
• Weight capacity: Up to 380kg combined load for Double, Queen, King and Super King sizes.

Each Cambridge bed is made to order. Customise the size, headboard height, leg height, timber finish and under-bed clearance to suit your room and personal preferences.

Choose extra clearance for storage boxes, suitcases or linen, or add custom drawers or gas lift storage at an additional cost.
