Full-Frame Quality and Fast Autofocus

The EOS R8 Mark II features a 24MP full-frame CMOS sensor for rich detail, natural colours and beautiful bokeh, while also delivering cleaner results in low light. Dual Pixel CMOS AF II tracks people, pets and fast-moving action, helping keep your subject in focus whether they are moving towards you or across the frame.

Capture Moments as They Happen

Five-axis in-body image stabilisation helps keep handheld shots sharp, while electronic shutter burst shooting at up to 40fps lets you capture precisely timed moments. Pre-continuous shooting records up to 20 frames before the shutter is fully pressed, helping preserve spontaneous moments that might otherwise be missed. Register People Priority can also prioritise selected faces when shooting in busy environments.

Creative Video and In-Camera Looks

Creative filters, including Positive and Negative Filmtone looks, offer adjustable intensity in 10% increments, while Canon Log 3 provides flexibility for grading footage later. In-camera Look File (LUT) support lets you preview or apply your own looks, and Slow and Fast Motion mode provides independent control over frame rate and playback speed. Pair the camera with RF lenses such as the RF 28mm f/2.8 STM, RF 28-70mm f/2.8 IS STM or RF 70-200mm f/4L IS USM to expand your creative possibilities.
