Clempton Pine: A Beautiful Bed That Makes Space for More

The Clempton brings the familiar warmth of a country-style bed into a more useful everyday design. Recessed panels in the headboard and footboard give it a framed, finished look, while solid pine keeps the room feeling warm and welcoming. It has presence without relying on busy decoration.

Four built-in drawers put the space under your mattress to good use. Spare sheets, extra blankets and other bedroom essentials can stay neatly tucked away, giving you more breathing room in cupboards and on shelves. Push-to-open fronts keep the timber panels free of handles.

Four Drawers, Ready for Everyday Use

Each included drawer has solid New Zealand pine linings, smooth full-extension metal runners and a load capacity of up to 70kg. The internal space is 60cm wide × 51cm deep × 20cm high per drawer. Allow room beside the bed to open the drawers fully.

Matching bedsides, dressers and tallboys are available if you would like the same timber look throughout your bedroom.

Solid Pine, Made to Suit Your Room

The frame, headboard and footboard where fitted are solid New Zealand pine, with no veneer. Natural grain and knots give each bed its own character. Choose from the available pine stain colours and tinted lacquer finishes to find the tone that works with your flooring and furniture.

How Would You Like Your Mattress to Sit?

Sit flush: the mattress rests on top of the frame, with no raised retaining lip along the rails or footend. Sit inside 2cm: the mattress sits 2cm down within the frame. Select your preferred fit when ordering.

Support You Can Rely On

Solid pine slats measure 90mm × 35mm with 70mm spacing. Queen includes centre support; King and Super King add two support legs to the floor. Single, King Single and Double have no centre support as standard, with heavy-duty support available by request. Double through Super King have a combined weight capacity of 380kg.

Want a Different Storage Setup?

The four push-to-open drawers are included. A different drawer layout or gas-lift build needs a separate quote before ordering.

Optional Gas-Lift Build

A gas-lift conversion offers 35cm internal storage height, four metal beams from head to foot, a central floor support and a lift capacity of 90kg. It uses 15 plywood slats (55mm × 10mm) with 70mm gaps. Choose a two-strut lift opening to about 45 degrees, or a four-strut duo lift that brings the mattress forward while keeping it level for easier access.
