About this product
"The first song my Dad taught me to play on the guitar was Lefty’s “Long Black Veil”. Growing up on traditional country music like Lefty Frizzell, inspired me to trace my country music lineage.
His contributions set a standard of good country music and paved a way.
Our goal with this record of Lefty songs is to celebrate them as Lefty laid them down. We used old gear and recorded as close to their original form as possible. This is a labor of love and a tip of the hat to one of the best we’ve had." - Cody Jinks
