Colbor BSO90 - 90cm Octa Softbox - Eventec

Large-Scale 360° Omni-Directional Lighting for Professional Sets

The COLBOR BSO90 Lantern Softbox is a premium 90cm spherical modifier designed to fill large studios and sets with incredibly soft, even illumination. Its expansive 360-degree light spread makes it the ultimate tool for cinematography, group interviews, and architectural lighting. By softening the output of high-power COB lights, the BSO90 eliminates harsh hotspots and delivers a natural, flattering wrap-around light quality favoured by professional directors of photography.

Fast Deployment for High-Pressure Productions

Despite its impressive size, the BSO90 features a sophisticated quick-build frame system that allows for rapid setup and pack-down. This efficiency makes it a must-have for professional film crews and content creators who need to move quickly between scenes. With its universal Bowens Mount, it is the perfect partner for the high-output COLBOR CL220 and CL330 series, providing a massive, glowing light source that remains easy to manage.

Precision Light Shaping with Detachable Skirt

To enhance your creative control, the BSO90 includes a professional four-section light control skirt. This allows you to mask the light and prevent spill from hitting the ceiling or unwanted areas of your background. By adjusting the skirt sections, you can create a delicate white balance and precise colour correction on your subject while maintaining total control over the atmosphere of your environment.

Professional Grade Build and Heat Management

Constructed with aerospace-grade materials and high-density, heat-resistant diffusion fabric, the BSO90 is built to withstand long-lasting performance on busy sets. Whether you are lighting human skin tones for a feature film or creating a vibrant commercial background, this large-scale lantern ensures optimal light distribution and superior shooting results every time.
