Keep compatible security cameras charged with the Connect SmartHome 3W Solar Panel Twin Pack. The two-panel format suits a dual-camera setup, with each panel providing a 3W, 5V output and a built-in 3m cable with a USB-C connector.
Position each panel for sunlight
The adjustable mount lets you angle each panel towards the sun, while the 3m cable gives you flexibility to position it separately from the camera. Install each panel within 3m of its camera in a location that receives the most direct sunlight throughout the day and year. The manual recommends a tilt of 30 to 45 degrees from the ground.
Designed for outdoor installation
Each panel has an IP65 rating and an operating temperature range of -20 to 60 degrees Celsius. When connecting the USB-C cable to the camera, ensure the connection forms a weatherproof seal. Clean the panel regularly to remove dust and debris.
Check your camera before purchase
Use with cameras that support solar charging from a 5V USB-C input. A USB-C port alone does not establish compatibility, so check your camera's charging requirements before purchase. Charging efficiency depends on the panel's position, tilt angle and weather conditions; continuous charging is not guaranteed.
