THE CRYING GAME is a gripping psychological thriller from Director Neil Jordan (Mona Lisa, Interview with a Vampire). Built around a trio of incredible performances from Jaye Davidson, Stephen Rea, and Forest Whitaker, THE CRYING GAME is a critically-acclaimed hit garnering five Oscar nominations and winning an Oscar for Best Screenplay. An unlikely friendship develops between IRA member Fergus, and Jody, a British soldier he is holding captive. When the hostage-taking ends up going horribly wrong, Fergus escapes and heads to London, where he seeks out Jody's lover, an enigmatic hairdresser named Dil (Jaye Davidson). As secrets unravel and personal loyalties are tested, THE CRYING GAME explores the complex dynamics of trust and human nature in a world filled with hidden truths.
