About this product
Slick. Suave. Gentle. Brutal. Wild. Imprint release #12 infiltrates the collection once more, reuniting us with the ‘60s psychedelic snapshot Danger: Diabolik in a Limited Edition 4K UHD Hardbox release!
Directed by genre legend Mario Bava and based on the Italian comic series by Angela and Luciana Giussani, this colourful crime caper stars John Phillip Law (Barbarella), Marisa Mell, and Michel Piccoli.
The international man of mystery called Diabolik can't get enough of life's good - or glittery - things. Not when there are currency shipments to steal from under the noses of snooty government officials and priceless jewels to lift from the boudoirs of the super-rich. The elusive scoundrel finds plenty of ways to live up to his name in this tongue-in-cheek, live-action caper inspired by Europe's popular Diabolik comics. He clambers up walls, zaps a press conference with exhilaration gas, smacks a confession out of a crime lord whilst free-falling from an aeroplane, and pulls off the heist of a twenty-tonne gold ingot.
This Limited Edition 2-Disc Hardbox includes the film on both 4K UHD and Blu-ray, restored from the original 35mm negative, accompanied by six audio tracks and a heist full of Special Features, plus a 60-page Hardcover Booklet featuring a brand NEW essay by Danger: Diabolik historian Leon Hunt.
