About this product
90’s ITV comedy-drama The Darling Buds Of May comes to Blu-ray for the first time worldwide!
Based on the novels by H. E. Bates, the series follows the life of the Larkin family in rural 1950’s Kent, starring David Jason, Pam Ferris, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Stephanie Ralph and Philip Franks.
Loveable rogue Pop Larkin (David Jason), Ma (Pam Ferris) and their six children, including the stunning Mariette (Catherine Zeta Jones) radiate happiness with hardly a care in the world! Whilst Pop’s unconventional money making schemes bubble along, Ma nurtures the family from the warmth of her busy kitchen as life continues in a paradise of sunshine and happiness.
Wallow in the nostalgia of the 1950s with Britain’s best loved family, in this celebration of love, family life and romance in the idyllic British countryside.
