Why this kit matters

The Kamikaze Tokkotai, or Special Attack Units, were formed by the Imperial Japanese Navy during the final stages of World War II. These units became known for their use of aircraft in suicide missions, targeting Allied naval vessels in the Pacific. The bravery and sacrifice of these pilots have become a significant part of military history, reflecting the intense conflict and the desperate measures taken during the war's closing months.

This model kit offers a chance to study and appreciate the engineering and design of these aircraft, as well as the historical context in which they were used. Building this kit provides insight into the tactics and strategies employed by the IJN, making it a valuable addition for anyone interested in military aviation or the broader story of World War II.
