Why this kit matters

The Messerschmitt Bf 109G-6 was a major version of Germany's famous Bf 109 fighter aircraft during the Second World War. The G-6 was produced from 1943 and became one of the most widely used versions of the aircraft. A surviving Bf 109G-6/R3 is held by the Smithsonian's National Air and Space Museum, which describes the type as one of Germany's best-known WWII aircraft.

The Bf 109G-6 served with Luftwaffe fighter units across several theatres. Eduard's marking options include aircraft associated with units such as JG 27, JG 5, JG 53 and JG 54, giving modellers historically themed schemes for their finished aircraft model.

How to use it

Build using modelling tools, paint and glue. The kit is supplied as an unassembled plastic model, so assembly is required. Paint and glue are not included. The ProfiPACK edition also includes pre-painted photo-etched parts and a painting mask.

This is a plastic model kit. Assembly, paint, and glue are required. It is not a toy.
