Belvedere opens with bergamot and lily of the valley, followed by a warm heart of honey, plum, and amber. A base of vanilla, caramel, and patchouli completes this woodsy, gourmand fragrance, evoking the warmth and charm of a romantic connection. Belvedere is a timeless tribute to a love story and the unforgettable moments shared in the heart of Vienna. Everything changed for Albert Fouquet on a winter night in 1936 in Megve. Fouquet had travelled to this emerging ski resort, a meeting place for European aristocracy, to attend a dinner hosted by his friend Nicols. Albert was the perfect French gentleman, passionate about travel and with a fascinating hobby: creating perfumes for his personal use. These perfumes became highly sought after among his social circle and the perfect gift that Albert would exceptionally use to surprise his aristocratic friends on the most special occasions. That magical night in Megve turned Fouquets life upside down: it was Annicke, a young Austrian girl, the daughter of a banker and Hungarian noble. Her extraordinary beauty, innate elegance and irresistible personality made Alberts heart skip a beat. She was the most amazing woman he had ever met. Their conversation and dancing, together with the warmth from the fireplace on that cold winter night left their imprint in Fouquets mind and on his heart, along with the indelible image of Annicke. There was no doubt that he had met the most fascinating woman that any man could ever have imagined. That magical night turned into day, but Albert had to leave for Paris at sunrise. But not before writing a heartfelt letter to Annicke, in which he expressed his ardent desire to see her again as soon as it was possible. Months passed, and letters and meetings between Albert and Annicke followed. Vienna, and specifically the magnificent Belvedere Palace, became the epicenter of their growing connection and a source of inspiration for Alberts new creation for her: Belvedere. Made in Spain.
